To give every organization the permanent, internal capability to continuously redesign how work gets done - ensuring we build a future where human judgment and technology thrive together.

To keep our focus entirely on this mission, the Institute is independently funded and completely free to access, forever. All of our education, research, and global standards are openly available, with no paywalls, no membership fees, and no commercial agenda.

“Our ambition is to make AI Work Design accessible to everyone, to build the profession around it, and to give organizations the capability to continuously redesign their own work.”

Because AI will keep changing what is possible.
We need to become just as good at changing how work gets done."

The Institute brings together 3 perspectives to establish this new discipline.

Founding Fellow

Senior leaders shaping the direction of the Institute and the discipline itself. This role is designed for senior executives from leading global enterprises.

Executive perspective. Fellows contribute to major research, join selected roundtables, challenge the Institute’s thinking, and appear at private executive forums. The commitment is light, deliberately.

Fellows gain direct access to the senior executive peer network, early access to global standards and research, and invitations to private forums.

Active, hands-on contribution. Practitioners develop, test, and refine the Institute's methodologies, standards, and tools; they also teach in courses and cohorts, and bring real-world implementation case studies back to the community.

Practitioners gain a platform for their work, a place to teach, and full access to practitioner-specific programs, communities, and research.

Founding Technology

For technology companies whose platforms and tools are actively changing how work gets done.

Contribution at an organizational level through the Technology Council, providing technical expertise, research collaboration, and support for Builder programs.
